Wade Black is a seasoned executive and visionary leader with a rich legacy in aviation and investment management. As the former Chairman and CEO of SevenBar Aviation, Wade led the company through transformative growth, expanding its services and establishing it as a leader in air medical operations. During his tenure, he consolidated ownership, expanded into new markets, and achieved over fivefold growth. Under his leadership, SevenBar shifted its focus exclusively to air medical services, including the integration of rotor services, culminating in its sale to Global Medical Response in 2019.
Beyond aviation, Wade oversees Black Family Investments, managing real estate, oil and gas assets, and aviation ventures. A tribal member of the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe, Wade has held leadership roles with the Amazon Conservation Team, Young Presidents’ Organization, and several corporate and advisory boards.
With a BS in Petroleum Engineering and Economics from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University, Wade blends technical expertise with strategic business acumen. Recognized by the New Mexico Aviation Hall of Fame, he continues to drive innovation and excellence in every endeavor.
